The Harrisburg Lady Bulldogs golf team stayed undefeated (3-0) on Wednesday by shooting a 204, outpacing Centralia (209) and Hallsville (241) at Tanglewood Golf Course in Fulton. Mackenzie Ray (Harrisburg) and Emily Shoop (Hallsville) tied for medalist honors with a 49. Macy Arp shot a 50 to finish one stroke behind. Rounding out the scoring for Harrisburg was Hailey Lowrey (52), Saige Bexten (53), and Krista Cochran (58). The Lady Bulldogs travel to Arthur Hills to take on Mexico on Thursday.
Girls Golf Opens season with a victory
The Harrisburg girls golf team defeated the Paris Lady Coyotes 204-239 on Monday at the Mark Twain CC in Paris. Macy Arp lead all golfers with a 47 to earn medalist honors. She was followed up by Mackenzie Ray and Saige Bexten in which both shot 50. Others scores for Harrisburg were Hailey Lowrey (53), Krista Cochran (54), KK Giboney (57), Adrian Baldridge (66), and Jordan Nichols (68). Harrisburg travels to Fulton on Wednesday to take on Centralia and Hallsville.
